Bio: Marika is doing her PhD in Physics at DFA in Padova. She is working on the modelling of multi-pathogen systems in collaboration with LIPH. She obtained her master degree in Physics of Data at the University of Padova, complex systems track. During her master thesis she worked at IPLESP in Paris in collaboration with the LIPH.

Research activities: Marika is mainly interested in complex systems, specially in their application in epidemiology and ecology. She is also interested in machine learning, network science and data analysis. Currently her research activity is about the epidemiology of respiratory viruses.
