Bio: Benjamin has a Master degree in Physics and Biophysics from ENS de Lyon and Université Paris Diderot. For his master project, he used agent based modelling and complex system approach to understand how reactive vaccination could be implemented in the context of Covid-19 pandemics. Benjamin started his PhD in october 2021 at IPLESP in Paris cosupervised by Chiara Poletto and Pierre-Yves Boelle. His project aims at understanding how the interplay between age varying risk factors shape seasonal influenza epidemics. He will also apply his work to the interaction between influenza and Covid-19.

Research activities: Benjamin is mainly interested in applying concepts from theoretical physics such as dynamical system, statistical physics or network science to biological systems and epidemiology. He's currently studying how interactions between different pathogens change epidemics.
